GOTRC Finish Line Council Feature: Joan Trimuel Williams

We’re kicking off our birthday month by featuring our Finish Line Council Chair Joan Trimuel Williams! Joan, Director of Compliance for Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, has been instrumental in Girls on the Run-Chicago’s growth since the early 2000s. She started as a member of our inaugural Associate Board and went on to serve as the president of our Governing Board from 2021 to 2023, in addition to showing up as a Coach and a volunteer.

Her leadership and organizational planning skills were crucial in the development of our 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, and we are grateful for her generosity and the joy she brings to our community. We sat down to chat with Joan about her Girls on the Run journey and the vision for Girls on the Run-Chicago’s future.
