GOTRC Finish Line Council: Adrianne Wright

Adrianne Wright

Adrianne Wright, a member of the Finish Line Council, has been involved with Girls on the Run-Chicago since 2007. She served as a Governing Board member from 2007 to 2016, bringing her leadership expertise to the organization. Although she no longer lives in the Chicago area, she continues to support GOTRC through her own financial contributions and spreading the word to her networks.

Why do you support GOTRC?

I believe in the values and mission of the GOTRC organization.

What is your favorite thing about Girls on the Run?

Seeing the faces of the girls as they cross the finish line during the 5K celebration event.

What is your superpower?

The ability to lead is my superpower.

What advice would you give to your 10-year-old self?

Never be afraid to stand up for what you know is right.

What have you learned about yourself while working with GOTRC?

I am unstoppable if I put my mind to it.

What do you hope to see GOTRC accomplish in the next five years?

I would like to see GOTRC continue on the current trajectory of transforming the lives of girls in the Chicagoland area by building on their self-confidence, kindness, and decision-making skills.

Join Adrianne in running 2 our future 4 the next generation of leaders by giving today!
