Girls on the Run-Chicago invites you to attend one or all of our annual special events! Please join us in supporting this life-changing program and make a difference in the life of a young girl.
Squeez'd Girls on the Run 5k Presented by Mariano's
Thanks to all who came out to support or participate in our three 5ks this spring! Check back soon for the link to register for fall!
The Squeez'd Girls on the Run 5k is the culminating achievement for thousands of girls who have completed our nationally-recognized after-school program. Girls are joined by parents, coaches, friends, and community runners in a fun celebration of health, wellness, and girl power!
All GOTRC 5k events are open to the public. You do not need to be a girl to participate! All finishers receive "woohoos!" and the admiration of numerous spectators, but runners are not timed nor are awards given. Everyone who crosses the finish line is a winner.
GOTRC Associate Board Events
The GOTRC Associate Board hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year including the most recent Rev Up for Girls on the Run-Chicago that was held on June 22 at Revolution Brewery. Check back soon for upcoming events!

Spring Give for Girls Benefit Dinner
Thank you to everyone who came to our 6th Annual Spring Give for Girls Dinner in April! The evening featured a cocktail reception and 4-course dinner along with an Extraordinary Awards Ceremony. All funds raised at this extra-special event will help grow and sustain Girls on the Run programs across Chicagoland.
Sparkle & Shine Gala
The GOTRC Sparkle & Shine Gala is held annually in the fall at the landmark Drake Hotel in downtown Chicago. Gala guests enjoy wine, beer and cocktails, passed hors d’oeuvres and live music. This special evening also features a live and silent auction offering the best items in sports, fitness, and adventure. Funds raised at the Annual Gala underwrite program scholarships and support program expansion in some of our most under served communities.
